Christmas Gift Exchange


My favorite tradition here at Emergent is the Holiday Gift Exchange. This is an optional holiday party wherein the participants draw names and come up with a holiday gift for their victim… I mean… friend. The goal is to riff off a personality trait, event, or humorous anecdote and craft a gift to make everyone laugh. Over the years there have been some great ones. When the day comes, everyone’s favorite purveyor of presents, Pantsless Santa comes by to deliver the gifts to all the good elves at Emergent. He reads a short poem, then gives the gift.
