Microsoft Surface Fun


Now that multi-touch is taking off, I really enjoy seeing some of the new devices that are coming out. The Microsoft Surface team definitely makes me curious. It’s pretty clear at first blush that they are going for a niche commercial market at first. However, vidoes like these make me really interested in what will come in the future as these complex table-top multi-touch devices eventually go mainstream.

The really cool thing in this video is the usage of fiber-optics to push part of the display up into 3d objects on top of the surface.
